Orange Sherbert Salad
2 pkg. orange Jello
2 cups boiling water
1 pint orange sherbert
1 can Mandarin oranges, drained
1 large can crushed pine-apple, drained
2 bananas
Dissolve Jello in boiling water.
Add sherbert and allow to melt.
Add drained fruit and bananas and chill.
Serves 12 to 15.

Sauce for
Angel Food Cake
3 eggs yolks
1 tsp. grated orange rind
Pinch of salt
¾ cup orange juice
½ cup sugar
½ cup heavy cream
Mix first five ingredients.
Cook over hot water until thickened like a soft custard.
Chill.
Fold in ½ cup heavy cream, whipped stiff.
