PMH introduces Online Bill Pay
Pocahontas Memorial Hospital is pleased to introduce Online Bill Pay for patients of the hospital, including the Rural Health Clinic. Using a service called WebView, patients can now safely and securely view and pay their bills online.
To use the service, a patient will need to enroll using an enrollment number included on the latest bill received. WebView will allow you to view your statements electronically, receive alerts when a new statement has become available, and securely make payments anytime, anywhere, from any computer with Internet access. WebView is free and once you are enrolled, you can even view past statements and your payment history.
To learn more about WebView or to enroll in this new service, visit Pocahontas Memorial Hospital’s website at www.pmhwv.org and click on the Online Bill Pay link on the homepage.

PMH Auxiliary Annual Membership Drive
The Pocahontas Memorial Hospital Auxiliary’s Annual Membership Drive is now in full swing and they would like to extend an invitation to anyone in the community who might be interested in joining their group. The Auxiliary is a vital part of the PMH family and has made significant purchases over the years to benefit the patients that the hospital serves. Purchases of more than $149,000 have included a dishwasher for the kitchen, clocks, chairs, IV poles and pumps, Pulse Oximeters, and, most recently, a state-of-the art GPS for the Ambulance Service and wall mount otoscope/ opthalmoscopes for the Rural Health Clinic exam rooms.
The Auxiliary invests approximately $7,000 each year in the hospital.
The Auxiliary is solely responsible for running the Gift Shop located at PMH. They can also be found at various fairs and festivals around the county with Gift Shop wares. A project they are particularly proud of is their Love Light Christmas Tree. This fundraising event allows donations to be made in honor or in memory of loved ones. Names are displayed on a tree in the front lobby of the hospital during the holiday season.
The Auxiliary invites anyone who is interested in joining to attend the regular monthly meeting on the second Tuesday of each month at 2 p.m. in the PMH Conference Room.
You can commit as much or as little time to the group as you wish; all they ask is that you be willing to work toward the good of the hospital.
You may contact a member of the Auxiliary by calling the Gift Shop at 304-799-7400 ext 1083.
