Tomato Dumplings
1 qt. tomatoes
1 stick butter
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup flour
3 tbsp. Crisco
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2/3 cup milk
Mix salt, flour and Crisco.
Add milk and make a fairly stiff dough.
Roll out thin on floured board.
Cut into narrow strips.
Be sure each strip is covered with flour. This is your dumpling mix.
Combine tomatoes, butter and sugar. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Bring to a boil.
Add dumpling mix.
Cook, covered on low for 15 minutes.

Hot Crabmeat Dip
1 pound crab meat
2 – 8 oz. pkgs. cream cheese
4 Tbsp. mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. lemon
1 cup grated sharp cheese
1 cup sour cream
3 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Mix all ingredients, except the grated cheese.
Pour into a baking dish and sprinkle cheese on top.
Bake for 25 minutes at 350º.
Serve with Triscuits.
Barbecued Ribs
1 tsp. salt
1Tbsp. vinegar
2 lbs. ribs
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce.
1/2 cup catsup
Cook ribs until tender.
Place in a pan and brown all sides.
Cover with sauce and simmer on low heat 20 to 25 minutes.
