Chicken and Stuffing
2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken (no bones)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 soup can of milk
1 pkg, Stove Top Stuffing
1 stick butter
Cook chicken until tender.
Place chicken in 9 x 13 baking dish
Mix soup with milk and pour over chicken.
Melt butter in skillet.
Add stuffing mix and stir.
Quickly remove from heat.
Spread stuffing over chicken.
Bake at 350º for 30 to 35 minutes.
1 can asparagus, drained or about 1 1/2 lb. fresh asparagus, cooked.
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1 can cream mushroom soup
1/2 to 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
Bake at 350º for 35 to 40 minutes.
Lima Beans with Cheese
2 lbs. large lima beans, fresh or frozen
1/2 tsp. celery salt
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/4 cup light cream or evaporated milk
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup grated cheese
1 tsp. finely chopped onion
Cook beans according to package directions.
Mix limas with remaining ingredients.
Bake in a casserole dish, 350º for 15 minutes.
Stir once while cooking.
