One Dish Surprise
1 lb. Polish sausage
6 medium potatoes
1 large onion
1 4 oz. can mushrooms
Salt and pepper to taste
1/8 tsp. soul seasoning
Melt 1 ½ Tbsp. shortening in a skillet.
Slice potatoes and fry until half done.
Cut onion into ½ inch strips and add with potatoes.
Add Polish sausage, mushrooms, salt and pepper and soul seasoning.
Continue cooking until potatoes are done.
 
Corn Sticks
1 cup corn meal
1/2 cup Hudson Cream flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. cooking oil
1 egg
Combine all ingredients.
Pour into a well greased corn stick pan.
Bake at 400º for 15 minutes.
