What’s Cookin’?

Quick Hot Rolls
1 1/2 cup warm milk
1 pkg. dried yeast
2 Tbsp. shortening
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. salt
4 cups flour
Mix all ingredients together with a spoon.
Let rise until double in bulk.
Work down.
Let rise again until double in bulk.
Shape into rolls.
Let rise again.
Bake at 400 º for 12 to 15 minutes.

Chocolate Peanut
Butter Pie
1 1/2 cup milk, or heavy cream
6 Reese’s Cups, broken into pieces
8 oz. Cool Whip, thawed
3 oz. pkg. instant chocolate pudding
1 Graham cracker crust
Mix milk and pudding mix.
Blend in Cool Whip.
Stir in Reese’s Cup pieces, and pour into pie shell.
Freeze for 6 hours.
