Ice Cream and Strawberries\r\n1 qt. strawberries. Wash, hull and mash through sieve. \r\nAdd juice of 1\/2 lemon and sugar to sweeten. \r\nFreeze in refrigerator tray. \r\nTop with sweetened whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. \r\nKeep in freezer until ready to serve. \r\nCut into squares and turn out. \r\nServes 8.\r\n\r\nEasy Watermelon Salad\r\n6 cups cubed seedless watermelon\r\n2 Tbsp. minced fresh mint\r\n1 Tbsp. lemon juice\r\n1 Tbsp. olive oil\r\n2 tsp. sugar\r\nPlace watermelon and mint in a large bowl. In a small bowl, whisk lemon juice, oil and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Drizzle over salad; toss gently to combine.
