Ginger Ale Salad\r\nDissolve one package of lime Jell-O in 1\/2 cup boiling water, stirring constantly.\r\nCool.\r\nAdd 1 1\/2 cups ginger ale. \r\nLet the mixture thicken a little, then add 1 cup of chopped nuts and celery, one cup chopped orange segments, white grapes and pineapple chunks. \r\nFill individual molds, after dipping them in cold water. \r\nPut in ice box to congeal. \u00a0\r\nTurn out and serve on lettuce with mayonnaise garnish.\r\n\u00a0\r\nWest Virginia Jambalaya\r\n1 cup chopped ham\r\nOnion\r\n1 1\/2 cups hot water or stock\r\nSweet pepper\r\n1 pint tomatoes\r\n1 cup rice\r\n1 chicken cooked and shredded \r\nMelt one Tbsp. of lard in a pot and brown a cut up onion. Add a spoon of flour to brown and then add tomatoes (which have already been chopped and heated). Add ham and chicken, season with salt, pepper, sweet pepper and paprika. \r\nPut 1 1\/2 cups of hot water or stock in this and cook for 10 minutes. \r\nAdd one cup rice and cook until done.
