Easy Baked Beans
2 – 1 lb. cans pork and beans
1 large onion, sliced
6 strips bacon, cooked
1/2 cup pancake syrup
1/4 tsp. red pepper
Combine all ingredients.
Bake in a 2 quart baking dish at 325º for 45 minutes.

Blackberry Wine Cake
1 white cake mix
1 – 3 oz. pkg. blackberry or red raspberry Jello
1 cup blackberry wine
4 eggs
1/2 cup oil
Combine cake mix and Jello.
Add eggs, oil and blackberry wine.
Beat on low speed until blended, then beat on medium for about four minutes.
Pour into a greased and floured Bundt pan and bake 45 minutes at 325º.
Glaze
1 1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar
1/2 cup blackberry wine
Stir together all ingredients
Pour half of the glaze over the warm cake. Let stand for a few minutes before removing the cake from the pan.
Once the cake has cooled, pour the remaining glaze over the top.
