Shirley Ann Kelley, age 82, of Dunmore, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at Pocahontas Center in Marlinton.

Born May 9, 1935, in Belington, she was a daughter of the late Nancy Harvey Cross.

Shirley was a homemaker and was formerly employed by Hanover Shoe Company.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Verlin Lucas “Tom” Kelley; a son, Verlin Lee “Tom” Kelley; a sister, Edna Cross; and a brother, Melvin Cross.

She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Kelley, of Dunmore, and Sue Ann Corbett, of Quinwood; a son, Scott Lucas Kelley, and wife, Nancy, of Dunmore; eight grandchildren, Misti Halterman, Jennifer Leith, Jonathan Kelley, Ronald Kelly, Joshua Kelley, Eric Kelley, William Kelley, Elizabeth Kelley and Mary Kelley; five great-grandchildren, Dillon Kelley, Ronald Kelley, Jr. Billy Kelley, Kaelyn Wolfe and Lucas Kelley; four sisters, Wilma Shue, and husband, Joe, of Elkins, Hallie Shahan, and husband, Earl, of Belington, Jenny Cline, of Parkersburg, and Sarah Tenney, of Georgia; two brothers, Bill Cross, and wife, Sharon, and Junior Cross, and wife, Phyllis, all of Belington; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was held November 19 at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale with Pastor Julian Rittenhouse officiating. Interment was in the Moore Family Cemetery at Frost.
