Paul Hill

Paul Preston Hill departed this life to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, July 21, 2017.

Born October 15, 1924, at Green Bank, he was a son of the late Clifton Lawrence and Nannie Olive Mann Hill.

Paul attended Pine Grove Church of the Brethren and Hebron Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Susan Matheny and Dolly Gray Ryder; and four brothers, Charles Hunter Hill, Neil Wesley Hill, Thurman Dallas Hill and Leroy Arthur Hill.

He is survived by a sister, Ella Nora Hill, of Green Bank; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral service was held July 25 at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale with Pastors Julian Rittenhouse and David Rittenhouse officiating. Burial was in the Wesley Chapel Church Cemetery in Green Bank. Pallbearers were Johnny Hill, Bill Hill, Larry Matheny, James Plaugher, Jeff Kline and Rick Wooddell.
