Masil Scragg

Masil Ellen Scragg, age 93, of Ramage, passed away Friday, May 6, 2016, at White Sulphur Springs Center.

Born February 16, 1923, at Greenview, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Bertha O’Neal Scragg.

Masil was a long-time member of the Greenview Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Morris Harvey College in Charleston. She was a school teacher and a legal secretary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Otto Scragg, Daniel Scragg and Elmer Scragg; and a sister, Hazel Davis.

She is survived by three nieces, Loretta Price, of Florida, Connie Moore, of Frost, and Janice Hydock, of Conway, South Carolina.

Funeral service was May 9 at the Greenview Community Church in Madison with Pastor Luke Cooper officiating. Interment was in the Madison Cemetery Gardens in Madison.

Memorials may be made to the Greenview Community Church.
