Mary Ruth Kiner, age 80, of Marlinton, died Monday, June 14, 2021, at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital in Buckeye.
Born June 19, 1940, at Cambridge, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Louis, Sr. and Ruby Cowgill Varele.
Mary Ruth was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence L. Kiner, Sr.; daughter, Lori Kiner; sisters, Opal Margaret Fine, Shirley Varele, Josephine MacFarlane and Ruth Burks; brothers, Louis, Jr., Lawrence and Robert Varele.
She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Rebrook, of Charleston and Brenda Birch, of Charlotte, North Carolina; son, Lawrence L. Kiner, of Marlinton, 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at VanReenen Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2021.
Graveside service Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Cochran Cemetery in Onoto with Pastor Sam Felton officiating.
