Martha Pritt

Martha Ellen Pritt, age 85, of Hillsboro, died Thursday, December 26, 2013, at Pocahontas Center.

Born July 19, 1928, at Meadville, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Leon and Hazel Thompson Cotterman.

Martha was a retired nurse aide.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William Cotterman and Merle Cotterman; and two sisters, Helen Seely and Shirley Phelps.

She is survived by her husband, Elliott H. Pritt; two daughters, Lois Dean, of Hillsboro, and Linda Beard, of Florida; three sons, Larry Dean, Laymond Dean and Larken Dean, all of Hillsboro; a sister, Mary Lou Nageotte, of Sagertown, Pennsylvania; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral service was December 28 at VanReenen Funeral Home with Pastor Kerry Workman officiating. Interment was in Emmanuel Cemetery at Bruffy’s Creek.
