Marshall Tracy

Marshall “Dickie” Wardell Tracy, 74, of Arbovale, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020, at UMPC in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Born July 9, 1946, in Arbovale, he was a son of the late Marshall W. and Anna Lee Vandevander Tracy.

Dickie was a night watchman at Interstate Hardwoods and Howe’s Leather and ran a farm. He was a member of Pine Grove Church of the Brethren, where he operated the sound system and was the handyman.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Buzzard Tracy, whom he married in 1969; sons, Gary Tracy, and wife, Shir-ley, of Durbin, and Michael Wardell Tracy, of Arbovale; sister, Phyllis Mick, and husband, Kenneth, of Durbin; brothers, Allen Tracy and Donald “Bucky” Tracy, both of Arbovale; and his only grandchild, Lilly Rice, and husband, Terrell, of Ohio.

Funeral service will be Thursday, September 17, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale with Pastor David Rittenhouse and Pastor Julian Rittenhouse officiating. Burial will follow in Arbovale Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of service.

We will follow guidelines associated with COVID-19 and social distancing is encouraged.
