Keith Mace

Robert Keith Mace, age 81, of Mace, died Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at his home.

Born January 6, 1939, at Mace, he was a son of the late Herbert Troy and Jessie Aretta Jones Mace.

Keith was a retired coal miner, mechanic and fabricator, and a member of Mace United Methodist Church and the United Mine Workers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandchild, Chad Morgan; and a brother-in-law, Dick Laraway.

He is survived by his daughters, Pamela June Simmons, and husband, Buddy, Donna Lynn Chocklett; son, Douglas Keith Mace, and wife, Rosella; sisters, Naomi Reed, and husband, Jim, Shirley Laraway; brother, Herbert Mace, and wife, Lucille; grandchildren, Ross and Seth Morgan, Tyler Chocklett, Dana and Troy Mace; and great-grandchild, Rylan Morgan.

Funeral service was held Sunday, September 13, 2020, at Mace United Metho-dist Church Funeral service with John Welch officiating.

Interment in Mingo Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mace United Methodist Church.

VanReenen Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
