Maxine G. Puffenbarger, 21, of Hillsboro, pleaded guilty March 24 to a charge of speeding. Puffenbarger was assessed $201.48 in court costs and fines.
Journey Elizabeth Robinson, 24, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest March 21 to a charge of shoplifting, first offense. Robinson was assessed $201.48 in court costs and fines.
William A. Anderson, 46, of Durbin, pleaded guilty March 7 to charges of no operator’s and possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription. Anderson was assessed $482.96 in court costs and fines.
Jamie Lee Hubbert, 41, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest March 10 to a charge of shoplifting, first offense. Hubbert was assessed $226.28 in court costs and fines.
Jason Kinzer, 22, of Bluefield, Virginia, pleaded no contest March 4 to a charge of no proof of insurance. Kinzer was assessed $381.48 in court costs and fines.

Michael Lee Beverage, Jr., 38, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty March 21 to charges of operation without certificate of inspection or failure to produce certificate, operation of vehicle without evidence of registration and failure to maintain motor vehicle insurance. James Michael Calhoun, 37, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest March 13 to charges of unsafe and improperly equipped vehicle and driving while license suspended or revoked. Calhoun was assessed $472.96 in court costs and fines.
