Ruth Ann Lambert, 83, of Bartow, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Born July 22, 1941, at Thornwood, she was a daughter of the late George Brown and Molly McCall Whitmire Brown. She was the youngest and last surviving member of her immediate family.
Ruth was a member of Thornwood Community Church and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents and siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Lambert, Sr. in 2016.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna (Paul “Pudge”) Lambert, of Durbin, and Judy (Mark) Norton, of Wilmington, North Carolina; sons, Harold “Gene” Jr. (Susan) Lambert, of Bartow, and Jim “Eddie” (Valerie) Lambert, of Dur-bin; grandchildren, Clinton Morris, Molly Morris, Chris Lambert (Goldie), Kimberly Lambert, Tabitha Norton, Dustin Lambert, Dervin Lambert (Teresa), Delton Lambert (Amanda) and Dayla Harper (Jared); and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale, with Pastor Jared Harper officiating. Burial will follow in the Arbovale Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from noon until time of service.
