According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals had activity in their cases:

In Magistrate Cynthia Broce-Kelley’s court:

Travis L. Arbogast, Jr., 21, of Arbovale, pleaded guilty June 10 to a charge of knowingly or intentionally possessing a controlled sub- stance without a valid prescription. He was assessed $275.25 in court costs and fines.

Earle Lawrence Beers, 45, of Hillsboro, pleaded no contest June 23 to a charge of speeding. He was assessed $195.25 in court costs and fines.

Michael Lee Beverage, 42, of Hillsboro, pleaded no contest June 10 to a charge of speeding. He was assessed $195.25 in court costs and fines.

Briton Norris Brake, 30, of Hillsboro, pleaded no contest June 12 to a charge of speeding. He was assessed $195.25 in court costs and fines.

Jonah I. Clatterbuck, 22, of Green Bank, pleaded guilty June 18 to a charge of knowingly or intentionally possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription. He was assessed $275.25 in court costs and fines.

Wesley T. Crider, 28, of Brandywine, pleaded guilty June 2 to a charge of vehicle in prohibited area. He was assessed $199.64 in court costs and fines.

Nolan R. Gatturna, 22, of Fort Myers, Florida, pleaded guilty June 16 to a charge of acts prohibited by operator on roadway. He was assessed $281.44 in court costs and fines.

James G. Leicht, 27, of New York, New York, pleaded no contest June 1 to charges of failure to maintain control and left of center. He was assessed $399.28 in court costs and fines.

Derek Justice Moats, 25, of Blue Grass, Virginia, pleaded guilty June 1 to a charge of vehicle in prohibited area. He was assessed $195.25 in court costs and fines.

Timothy S. Murphy, Jr., 37, of Gallipolis, Ohio, pleaded guilty June 5 to a charge of obstructing a DNR officer. He was assessed $195.25 in court costs and fines.

Stephina Ann Powell, 45, of Charleston, pleaded no contest June 8 to a charge of shoplifting, less than $500. She was assessed $549.17 in court costs, fines and restitution.
