Born July 23, 1936, in Augusta County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Charley and Callie Gregory.

She will be greatly missed and was loved dearly by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Basil; grandson, Birch Stanley Loudermilk; and sisters, Beulah Mae Fulton and Mary Ella Richey.

She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Ann Gum, of Lewisburg, Betty Jo Gum, of Ronceverte, Marilynn Loudermilk, of Apache Junction, Arizona, Ellen Gum and Makala Louise Gum, both of Lewisburg; son, Billy Joe Gum, of Dunmore; grandchildren, Rapunzel Roxanne Gum, Luke McCutcheon Gum, Hickory Jasper Loudermilk and Sophia Jaybell Gum; great-granddaughter, Nora Elaine Gum; sisters, Shirley Boren and Eloise “Sug” Depoy; and brother, Charles “Ben” Gregory.
