Linda Doss

Linda Sue Darnell Doss, 75, of Marlinton, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021, at her home.

Born February 5, 1946, in Marlinton, she was a daughter of the late George Washington and Carrie Elizabeth Bancroft Darnell.

Linda was a homemaker and CNA.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Danny McAr-thur Doss; grandchild, David Crocket Doss; sisters, Madeline Gaydosh and Lilian Buzzard; brothers, Gene Darnell, Bill Darnell, James Darnell and George Darnell.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann Doss, of Marlinton, and Mara Burdette, and husband, Pete, of Marlinton; one son, Danny “Boone” Doss, and wife, Mary, of Marlinton; brother, Joe Darnell, of Monks Corner; grandchildren, Billy, Mark and Holly Burdette, Tara, Emily and Kenzie Doss, Samantha Holister and Carrie and Eli Pritt; and great-grandchildren, Anthony Burdette, Jaydon Burdette, Preslee Burdette, Natalye Burdette, Liam Burdette, Addison Cochran, Xavier Long, Oaklynn Burdette, Everly Burdette, Carson Pritt, Jacob Pritt, Kyler Pritt and Paxton Waid.

In keeping with her wishes, the body will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
