Larry Spencer

Larry “Jeff” Spencer, age 69, of Marlinton, died Thursday, December 5, 2013, at his home.

Born December 20, 1943, at Webster Springs, he was a son of the late Hertzel and Margaret Looman Spencer.

Jeff was a retired insurance agent and attended Swago United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Spencer.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Landis Spencer, of Marlinton; daughters, Robin Nesbitt, and husband, Dave, and Carrie Tenney, and husband, Marshall, all of Buckhannon; brothers, Roger Spencer, and wife, Bonita, and Mark Spencer, and wife, Kristie, all of Buckhannon; and three grandchildren, Ashton, Emily and Brett.

Funeral service was December 9 at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home in Buckhannon with Revs. David Merryman and Robert Mann officiating. Interment was in Lorentz Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Marlinton Volunteer Fire Department.
