Kathleen Simmons

Kathleen “Pete” Simmons, age 102, of Scott Depot, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017.

Born February 11, 1914, at Enterprise, she was a daughter of the late John and Daisy Stuck.

Kathleen attended Mason Street Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Simmons; daughters, Betty Lambert and Beverly Ashcraft; and step-children, Cleo Mane, Wanda Burr, Marlene Thompson, Francine Browning, Jo Russell and Benny Simmons.

She is survived by her children, Dennis Minor, Avis Allen and Patricia Fisher; step-children, Eva Perrine and Beryl Dennis; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, January 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harmer Funeral Home Shinnston. Funeral service is Thursday, January 12, 1 p.m. at Harmer Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Sovine officiating. Interment will be in the Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.
