Jason William Bennett, age 34, of Capon Bridge, departed this life Thursday, July 20, 2017, at Parsons.
Born Saturday, June 18, 1983, at Elkins, he was a son of Rodney Dale and Cathy Louise Bennett, of Durbin.
Jason was a 2001 graduate of Pocahontas County High School, and attended Potomac State College. He had been employed with Trex Company since 2004. He was an avid outdoorsmen, enjoying hunting, fishing and going to the river. He also enjoyed music concerts, collecting guns, riding motorcycles and spending time with his daughter.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Loretta Bennett.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancée, Wendy Virginia Lambert, of Parsons; a daughter, Loretta Rose Bennett; two step-children, Timmy Lee Curtight and Damien Cutright; a brother, Curtis Dale Bennett, of Durbin; a sister, Deidre Anne Parsons, of Elkins; and two uncles, Ramie Bennett, and wife, Marilyn, of Mill Creek, and Kenny Bennett, and wife, Susan, of Beverly.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 27, noon at Lohr & Barb Funeral Home in Elkins with Pastor Julian Rittenhouse officiating. Interment will be in the Mountain State Memorial Gardens in Gilman. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service.
