Emery Wyatt

Emery Francis Wyatt, age 79, of Dunmore, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea.

Born February 7, 1939, in Dunmore, he was a son of the late Emery Kermit and Nellie Frances Perry Wyatt.

Emery was a Vietnam Army Veteran, member of Baxter Presbyterian Church in Dunmore, a welder for the shipyard in Virginia and was a coalminer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Estilow; brother, Tom Wyatt; and daughter-in-law, Jeayne Wyatt.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Evelyn Tallman Wyatt; daughter, Wanda Wyatt, of Dunmore; three sons, Randy Wyatt, and Ricky Wyatt, and wife, Lisa, all of Hampton, Virginia, and Alan Wyatt, of Newport News, Virginia; brother, Ed Wyatt, and wife, Rita, of Hampton, Virginia; and two grandchildren, Karley and Matthew Wyatt.

In keeping with his wishes, the body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 17, 1 p.m. at Baxter Presbyterian Church in Dunmore with Pastor Bill Cox officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Baxter Presbyterian Church.
