Claire Wayne, High Rocks Vista volunteer, has started a beginners ukelele class. There are already five youngsters and two adults learning to play. They have formed a band called the High Rocks Ukelele Band and they sent musical Valentines by phone and played at Pocahontas Center. They will play at DirtBean’s Open Mic Night Monday, March 19. The event will be from 5 to 7 p.m. The ukelele group meets at 4 p.m. at the Community Wellness Center on Mondays and Wednesdays, and all are welcome to join. L.D. Bennett photo
