Voters with this concern should select the first option on the application, \u201cIllness, injury or other medical reason which keeps me confined (includes concerns of COVID-19)\u201d as their reason for voting absentee. You can receive the absentee application by:\r\n\r\n\u2022 Voters are encouraged to access the easy-to-use absentee ballot request portal at GoVoteWV.com. \r\n\r\n\u2022 Downloading and printing the application from our website: pocahontascountyclerk.com or the WV Secretary of State\u2019s website:sos.wv.gov \r\n\r\n\u2022 Call the County Clerk\u2019s Office at 304-799-4549 to request the application to be mailed, faxed or emailed to you.\r\n\r\nOn September 18, postage-prepaid absentee ballots will start going in the mail to voters whose applications are approved. \r\n\r\nThe last day to request an absentee ballot is October 28. \r\n\r\nEarly in-person voting will take place from October 21 to October 31.\r\n\r\nElection Day is November 3.\u00a0\r\n\r\nYou may track your ballot by going to GoVoteWV.com and clicking the \u201cTrack Your Absentee Ballot\u201d button. \r\n\r\nIf you have questions or concerns about your ballot, contact the county clerk\u2019s office at 304-799-4549.\r\n\r\nVoter registration deadline for the November 3 election is Tuesday, October 13, 2020.
