Dwight Kinnison

Dwight Blair Kinnison, age 68, of Buckeye, died Friday, February 17, 2017, at his home.

Born December 9, 1948, at Bruffey Creek, he was a son of the late Summers Niel and Nancy Louise Vaughn Kinnison.

Dwight was a shuttle bus operator for Snowshoe Mountain Resort. He was a United States Army Veteran, having served in Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Kinnison; a daughter, Hope Carpenter, of Eldersburg, Maryland; sons, Dwight Kinnison, of Fishersville, Virginia, Damian Kinnison, of White Sulphur Springs, and Andrew Kinnison, of Buckeye; sisters, Judy Myers, of Virginia, and Sandy Long; brothers, Wayne Kinnison, of Kentucky, Glen Kinnison, of Green Bank, and Edwin Kinnison, of Hillsboro; and five grandchildren.

Funeral service was held February 20 at VanReenen Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Felton officiating. Interment in the Ruckman Cemetery near Mill Point will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to West Virginia Caring Hospice.
