Clarice Rose

Clarice Jean Rose, age 80, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, formerly of Hillsboro, died Thursday, November 24, 2016, at Oakwood Rehab in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Born April 28, 1936, at Hillsboro, she was a daughter of the late Lon and Jessie Scott Rose.

Clarice was a retired key punch operator for the railroad.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Lanty Rose and Leroy Rose; and two sisters, Lucille Myers and Roxy Rose. She is survived by two sisters, Jeraldine H. “Jerri” Weiser, of Langhorne, Pennsylvania, and Alice Bradley, of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania; and a brother, Thomas Rose, of Towanda, Pennsylvania.

Funeral service was November 29 at VanReenen Funeral Home with Pastor Ronald Kinzel officiating. Interment was in Emmanuel Cemetery at Bruffey Creek.
