Charles Arbogast

Charles Gordon Arbogast, age 70, of Hillsboro, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at his home, succumbing to stage three cancer.

Born July 17, 1946, in Marlinton, he was a son of the late Charles H. and Nellie S. Arbogast.

Charles served in the United States Army and the United States Marine Corps.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Ann Arbogast; a brother, Richard Arbogast; and two sisters, Bonnie Hicks and Tina Dean.

He is survived by his wife, Edith Walton Arbogast; three children, Angel Critchfield, of Jane Lew, Dawn Arbogast and Aaron Arbogast, both of Kentucky; three step-children, Randy Dulaney, of Marlinton, Tammy Westerhausen, of North Carolina, and Terri Sharp, of Craigsville; two brothers, Tim Arbogast, of Monterey, Virginia, and Allen Micheal Arbogast, of Loveland, Colorado; nine grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and a step-great-granddaughter.

Funeral service was held at VanReenen Funeral Home. Burial was in Emmanuel Cemetery at Bruffey Creek.
