According to Circuit Court Clerk Connie Carr, the following cases were heard before the Honorable Judge James J. Rowe on April 2:

In the case the state vs Selina Goode, 28, of Marlinton, the defendant was present without representation and pled to the misdemeanor offense of possession. The felony charge was dismissed due to the defendant’s completion of drug court. The defendant was sentenced to time served.

In the case the state vs Angelina M. Wilt, 37, of Maysville, the defendant pled guilty to one count felony burglary. The court accepted the plea, but withholds adjudication until the defendant completes drug court.

In the case the state vs Samuel Lee Williams, 28, of Hillsboro, the defendant waived extradition and was remanded into custody of the Pocahontas County Sheriff’s Department. He is being held in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail. Virginia Law Enforcement has 10 days to assume custody.

A bond revocation hearing was held in the case the state vs Birthel Scott Kennedy, 46, of Marlinton.  The defendant was released on bond with the condition of home confinement, if the defendant has housing.

In a bond revocation hearing in the case the state vs Christopher G. Spence, 35, of Slaty Fork, the defendant was released on bond with added conditions of Day Report and random drug testing.
