A Pocahontas County Grand Jury returned indictments against two individuals on April 1.
Former Prosecuting Attorney Donna Meadows Price was indicted on a felony charge of Embezzlement. See related story on page 1.
Andrea Woody, 29, of White Sulphur Springs, was indicted on 59 felony counts – 34 of Forgery and 25 of Uttering. The charges stem from the forging of checks on Richard A. Jordan’s account at City National Bank during the period of August and September 2009.
An indictment is not proof of guilt. All persons are considered innocent until proven otherwise by a jury of their peers.
