Charles Rhodes

Charles Robert “Bob” Rhodes, 82, of Clover Lick, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020, at his home.

Bob was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a retied coalminer.

He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to fish and hunt and enjoyed sports.

Born August 15, 1937, in Wyco, he was a son of the late Samford M. and Ada Riddle Rhodes.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Rhodes.

He is survived by his wife, Carol M. Tallman Rhodes, of Clover Lick; daughter, Traci L. White, and husband, Jimmy, of Wyco; son, Jason W. Rhodes, and fiancée, Drucilla Compton, of Mullens; brother, Sam L. Rhodes, and wife, Wanda, of Pearisburg, Virginia; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held at Stony Bottom Cemetery Wednesday, July 15, 2020.

VanReenen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
