Barbara Gibson

Barbara Marie Gibson, 81, of Marlinton, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020, at the home of her daughter.

Born July 7, 1938, at Salamance, New York, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Duane and Elizabeth Brown Flick.

Barbara was a bus driver for Pocahontas County Schools.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Andrew Gibson; and brothers, John Flick and Roger Langdon, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Gibson; three sons, Phillip Andy Gibson, Todd Gibson and Dennis Gibson, all of Marlinton; grand-girls, Kailey Price, Emily Gibson, Katie Gibson, Olivia Doss and Braelyn Gibson; one great-grand-girl on the way, Brianna Marie Price; a brother, Robert Flick; and sisters, Elizabeth Cole, Eleanor Sharp, Marilyn Dumire, Marguerite James, Steven Cameron, Denise Cameron and Susie Davidson.

In keeping with her wishes the body will be cremated, and a service will be held at a later date.
