Edible Landscaping Gardening Workshop

Edible Landscaping Gardening Workshop Thursday, July 24, at 6 p.m. at the McClintic Library in Marlinton.  This workshop will feature new extension horticulture specialist Mira Bulatovic-Danilovich.

 

Food Preservation Workshops

Would you like to learn how to properly can, dry, or freeze your summer produce? WVU Extension Agent, Shirley Wilkins, will hold a series of Food Preservation Workshops during July at the Marlinton Presbyterian Church.  These workshops will be held on Tuesdays, July 22 and 29 from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Spaces for each of the workshops are limited, call 304-799-4852 register.

 

Pressure Canner Testing

Pressure Canner Testing for canner lids with dial gauges is available at the Extension Office.  In order to have your canner tested, bring only your canner lids with dial gauges.  Free educational materials on food preservation are also available. Call the Extension Office at 304-799-4852 to schedule a time.

 

Dramas, Fairs and Festivals Applications

Grant applications for the Dramas, Fairs, and Festivals grants for this quarter are due in the Extension Office by August 1. If you have any questions or need an application form, please call the office at 304-799-4852.
