William Pyles

William Pyles, age 80, of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at Sterling Village Healthcare in Sterling, Massachusetts.

Born July 17, 1936, in Hillsboro, he was a son of the late Gay V. Pyles and Helen M. Hebb Pyles. He was raised in Hillsboro and was a 1954 graduate of Hillsboro High School.

Bill was a parts manager for Volkswagon Company from 1955 until his retirement in 1997. He lived in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, for many years. He enjoyed working in his garden and going hunting.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Norma Bergeron Pyles, March 2016; and a brother, Timothy G. Pyles.

He is survived by his children, William L. Pyles, and Deborah A. Cullen, both of Billerica, Massachusetts, Suzanne M. Wilson, of Nashua, New Hampshire, and Brenda Farulla, of Norwood, Massachusetts; step-children, Brian Bergeron, and wife, Darlene, and Keith F. Bergeron all of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, John A. Bergeron, and wife, Ruth, of Aurora, Colorado, Linda Eastias, and husband, Steven, of Los Angeles, California, Celeste Cahill, of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Serena Lyons, of Nashua, New Hampshire; two sisters, Bonnie C. Harrison and W. Jane May, both of Kansas; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Per his request, the funeral service was private, and burial will be in West Virginia at a later date.
