Louisiana Sausage Sandwich
1 pkg. Italian pork sausage links
1 green pepper cut into bite-sized pieces
1 onion, cut into bite-sized pieces
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1/8 tsp. pepper
6 hoagie rolls – split
In a large skillet, brown sausage links over medium heat.
Cut into 1/2 inch slices.
Place in a slow cooker.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Cover and cook on low heat for 8 hours.
Spoon mixture on rolls using a slotted spoon.
Makes six sandwiches.
2 cups cooked chicken, cubed
16 oz. pkg. frozen broccoli, thawed
2- 10 3/4 oz. cans cream of chicken soup
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Place chicken in a greased 13 x 9 inch greased baking dish.
Put broccoli in a bowl and stir in soup, mayonnaise and lemon juice.
Pour soup mixture over chicken and top with cheese.
Bake uncovered at 350º for 45 minutes or until bubbly.
