What’s Cookin’?

Sausage Balls
1 pound hot sausage
½ pound grated sharp cheese
3 cups Bisquick
Mix sausage, cheese and Bisquick together.
Roll into balls.
Place on cookie sheet.
Bake at 400 º for 15 minutes.
May freeze until ready to bake.
Makes 36 sausage balls.
 
Potato Candy
1 pound confectioner’s sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. butter
1 pkg. coconut
2 squares chocolate
1 medium potato
Small piece of paraffin
Boil and mash potato
Add sugar, butter, vanilla and coconut.
Knead with hands and make into balls the size of a walnut.
Melt chocolate.
Add a small piece of paraffin.
Dip balls in chocolate and put on wax paper to set.

 Coconut Cake
1 box Yellow Cake Mix
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 can cream of coconut
1 8 oz. container of whipped topping
1 cup coconut
Make cake according to directions.
Mix sweetened condensed milk and cream of coconut together.
Set aside.
When cake is done, poke holes in it while it is still warm.
Pour mixture of milk and cream of coconut over the cake.
Stir coconut into whipped topping and spread on cake.
