Country Pie

Crust:
8 oz. tomato sauce
½ cup bread crumbs
¼ cup chopped onions
¼ cup chopped green pepper
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. oregano
1 lb. hamburger
1 ½ tsp. salt
Combine all ingredients. Mix well.
Put mixture into bottom of a greased 9-inch pie plate and pinch 1-inch fluting around the edge.
Filling:
1 1/3 cup Minute Rice
8 oz. tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 cup water
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
Combine rice, water, salt and tomato sauce and ¼ cup cheese.
Spoon mixture into meat shell.
Cover with foil.
Bake at 350º for 25 minutes.
Uncover and sprinkle top with remaining cheese.
Return to oven and bake, uncovered, for 10 to 15 minutes.
Serves 6.
