Apple Rings

2 cups water
½ cup butter
1 cup sugar
½ cup brown sugar
4 or 5 grated apples
2 unbaked pie crusts
Cinnamon
Mix water, butter and sugars in baking dish.
Heat in oven at 375º until butter melts and sugar dissolves.
Make pie crusts and roll into rectangle shape.
Grate apples and spread evenly over the crust.
Sprinkle cinnamon over the apples.
Roll up the crust like a jelly roll and cut into 1 ½ inch slices.
Place in syrup and bake for 45 minutes, until apples are done and crust is golden brown.

Pumpkin Cobbler

Crust:
1 box yellow cake mix
½ cup melted margarine
1 egg
Remove 1 cup of cake mix and save for topping.
Mix together all ingredients and pat into a 13 x 9 inch pan.
Filling:
1 large can pumpkin
3 eggs
2 tsp. cinnamon
¼ cup milk
2 tsp. vanilla
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
Mix together and pour into crust.
Topping:
1 cup yellow cake mix
¼ cup soft margarine
¼ cup sugar
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Mix together and sprinkle on filling.
Bake at 325 or 350º for 55 minutes.
