Virginia Lee Shaw Mullens Morris passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024.

Born December 12, 1930, in Pickens, she was a daughter of the late Norman W. Shaw and Eula Conrad Shaw.

She attended school in Slaty Fork and Marlinton.

Virginia was raised in a family of faith; a family of faith that thanked God for the many blessings in life.  She knew Jesus as her Lord and Savior, and we are comforted knowing she is in the arms of our Heavenly Father.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas; sister, Mary-Joyce; and husbands, Kennith Mullens and Greg Morris.

She is survived by a brother, Norman Shaw Jr., and wife, Barbra, of Edray; sons, Wayne (Lynne), of Livingston, Louisiana, Jake (Linda), of Wake Forest, North Carolina, and Brad (Ginny), of North Bay, Ontario; grandchildren, Derek, Melanie, Dan and Jeremy; great-grandchildren, Megan, Daylen, Rayce, Ben, Ali and Amy; great-great-grandchild, Remi; stepchildren, Jim and Linda, of Texas; and many nieces and nephews in Pocahontas and Upshur counties and elsewhere.

The family sends a big thank you to the staff at Pocahontas Center in Marlinton for their special care throughout the past year.

Grammy will always be remembered as a loving, kind, generous mom and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all.

There is a joyous celebration as she is reunited with many loved ones.

Funeral service was held Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at the Pleasant Dale Church in Selbyville under the direction of Lantz Funeral Home in Buckeye. Burial was in the church cemetery.
