Virginia Faye “Ginger” Arbogast, age 68, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Saturday, March 26, 2016, at her home, with her family by her side, following a short battle with cancer.

Born in 1947 in High Coal, she was a daughter of the late Perry and Dolly Skeen.

Ginger was a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. However, her greatest joys included her grandchildren and family gatherings.

She married Samuel Arbogast June 1, 1963.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Lesa Partlowe, and husband, Fred, of Stephens City, Virginia, and Tresa Arbogast, and Gary Strawerman, of Winchester, Virginia; a sister, Penny Waugh, of Pocahontas County; a brother, Jerry Skeen, of West Virginia; grandchildren, Samantha, Brittainy, Justin, Jordan and Brooke; and great-grandchildren, Sierra, Taylor, Jayden, Tyler and Logan.

Funeral service March 30 at Shenandoah Memorial Park Mausoleum. Entombment in Shenandoah Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1833 Plaza Drive, Winchester, VA 22601.
