THE MOUNTAIN MUSIC Trail’s Music in the Mountain event at the Pocahontas County Opera House last weekend was for all ages. Sisters, Ramona Hardy, left, and Willa Hardy, competed in the Youth Fiddle Contest. Keeping it in the family, Ramona took first place, and Willa came in second. The girls are students of award-winning fiddler Jake Krack. They attend Hillsboro Elementary School where Ramona is in third grade and Willa is a first grader.
