Ruth Ann “Her-Her” Burner Feather, 80, of Richmond, Virginia, entered her heavenly home Monday, November 27, 2023.
Born June 19, 1943, in Frank, she was a daughter of the late Forrest Hull Burner and Grace Ellen Heavener Burner.
Ruth was a school bus driver for the Henrico County School system for 50 years. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, and a member of the Tuckahoe Moose Lodge #1163. Ruth was an avid supporter of Central Virginia Slow Pitch Softball and could be found most weekends enjoying yard sales.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Carl “Chick” Feather; daughter, Susan Feather Godwin (Brad); son, Timothy Allen Feather (Wendy); grandchildren, Tyler Godwin (Megan), Chase Godwin (Kristina), Robbie Godwin, Haley Marchetti (Caleb), Hannah Feather Gross (Corey), and Bryce Feather; great-grandchildren Colt, Sebastian, Kora, Archer, Cade, Kena and Millie; sister, Patsy Burner Sacks; brother, Wallace “Corkie” Burner (Loretta); and a host of nieces and nephews.
Ruth will be fondly remembered by her friends and family for her good nature and generous spirit. All those who were fortunate enough to have been a part of her life will miss her bubbly personality and great sense of humor.
The burial will be private.
