Roy Pritt

Roy Junior Pritt left this life Friday, January 20, 2017. Born June 9, 1931, he was a son of the late Fred H. and Manda Jenkins Pritt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Roy Brent Shields and Roy Jason Pritt; five brothers, Wheeler Pritt, James Pritt, Harold Pritt, Rex Pritt and Robert Pritt; two sisters, Bessie Evans and Anita Cullen; and two former wives, Victoria Shields Pritt and Peggy Clutter Pritt. He is survived by three children, Fred Pritt, of Hillsboro, and Alfred Pritt and Evelyn Powell, both of Marlinton; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Allen Pritt, and wife, Barbara, of Bluefield; and four sisters, Lena Clutter, and husband, Tom, of Bel Air, Maryland, Roxie Mann, of Bluefield, Virginia, Sylvia Kohlbus, of Havre de Grace, Maryland, and Lela Authenrieth, and husband, Vaughn, of Atkins, Virginia. Per his request, the body was cremated and a service will be held at a later date.
