Clive Alderman

Clive Alderman Clive Allison Alderman, Jr., age 87, of Nokesville, Virginia, passed away Monday, January 2, 2017, at Inova Fairfax Hospital. Born October 22, 1929, in Huntersville, he was a son of the late Clive A. Alderman, Sr., and Elise R. Dean Alderman. Clive was a 1950 graduate of Marlinton High School He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict, including a two-year tour in Alaska. He was a retired accountant for the federal government and later pursued a career in real estate. An avid Redskins fan, he enjoyed cheering on his team with family and friends. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Bonnie Lois Street Alderman; three children, Gary A. Alderman, of Manassas, Virginia, Jeffrey L. Alderman, of California, and Robin L. Dyer, and husband, Thomas, of North Carolina; and a sister, Joy Camp. of Chase City, Virginia. Also, he was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held January 9 at Pierce Funeral Home in Manassas, Virginia, with Rev. Jim Johnson officiating. Burial in Stonewall Memory Gardens in Manassas, Virginia.
