Robert Hunsucker

Dr. Robert “Bob” Hunsucker, age 80, fomerly of Marlinton, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014.

Bob was a renown Naturalist, Botanist, Taxonomist and an avid defender of the wilderness. He devoted his life to studying and following his bliss in nature.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Rogers, and three-year-old granddaughter, Katie, both of Senoia, Georgia.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held May 17 at Lookout Mountain Camp for Boys in Mentone, Alabama.

Memorials may be made to the Finca Mycol Project, c/o Michael Stevens, 23589 NW 19th Terrace, Booker, FL 32622.
