The Division of Highways has announced the planned temporary closure of Pocahontas County Route 1, Back Mountain Road, beginning Monday, August 20 and continuing through Saturday, August 25, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Paving will be done in this area, weather permitting.
The paving will begin near Wanless Road and end near Grant Vandevender’s.
Only emergency vehicles and school buses will be permitted to pass through the work zone.
The traveling public is advised to use an alternate route.
