Reuberta Hill

Reuberta “Ruby” Jane Sheets Hill, age 96, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021, at Grace Living Personal Care Home in Marietta, Georgia.

Born September 15, 1924, in Cass, she was a daughter of the late Willie H. Sheets and Mamie Wilfong Sheets.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Hill; daughter, Dallas Oliver; sisters, Carolyn Thomas, Bonnie Nelson and Betty Gray; brother Allen Sheets; and son-in-law, Steve Mills.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughters, Barbara Mills, of Antioch, Tennessee, and Lois Spruill (Mendell), of Marietta, Georgia; son, Billy Hill (Donna), of Culpeper,Virginia; son-in-law, Steve Oliver; sister-in-law, Grace Sheets; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Ruby was a devout Christian and prayer warrior. She served in many capacities in the churches that she attended. She was very instrumental in starting The Senior Center in Green Bank.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 8, 2021, at 2 p.m. at the Wallace and Wallace Chapel in Arbovale. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Arbovale Cemetery.
