PMH website great
source of information
Pocahontas Memorial Hospital’s website is a great source of information about the hospital and its services, as well as its involvement in community events. Highlights of the site include a history section, department descriptions and staff listings, patient and visitor information, and capital campaign news.
A full events calendar includes specialty clinics, senior luncheons and health fair dates. The page receiving the most traffic is the comprehensive careers section with a full listing of available positions. Information about working at the hospital is also included.
The newest and most exciting addition to the PMH website is the Your Care Community link. Your Care Community allows patients of the hospital to access their personal health records to view key information such as test results, prescribed meds, discharge instructions and diagnoses. A similar Patient Portal has been available for patients of the Rural Health Clinic since 2014, but this new service is available for anyone seen in the hospital itself.
To use the new Your Care Community, a patient must sign up for the service during registration. At that time you will receive instructions for accessing your personal account.
The site, located at www.pmhwv.org, was designed by former Pocahontas County resident Drew Tanner of Odd Boat Studios. You are encouraged to visit the site to learn more about Pocahontas Memorial Hospital.
